Robin's Diary - 9/4/20

Difficult decisions.

Over the past couple of weeks I have been forced to make some incredibly difficult decisions. Whilst I really wanted to be able to look after the motoring needs of our customers, many of which for numerous reasons need to maintain independent mobility, I also have to safeguard the wellbeing of our staff and stand firm behind the government instructions to stay at home. I must admit I didn't know what to do and felt I was between the devil and the deep blue see. Whatever I did was going to cause problems, and not even financial problems - that was the furthest thing from my mind.

On balance, I decided we needed to show support for the NHS and protect lives! Both far more important than a service or MOT, and even if a car needs some repairs, it's not life threatening.

So I am going to take this opportunity to apologise to all our customers for being unable to provide service and repair facilities, but by doing that, I am trying to do my bit to help ensure we are all still fit and healthy at the end of this unprecedented crisis.

Stay Safe everyone! Stay at Home and see you all at the other end.’ Robin Luscombe
