Suzuki's 48V Hybrid Technology
What Is It?
Alongside the car's engine, there is a 48V battery that assists the car when it understands that the engine is under stress. That is, when you are accelerating hard or driving up a hill or in tough terrain, the battery engine will kick in and make sure you have all the power and torque you need at that time. This is a self-charging Mild Hybrid technology which means that the battery automatically charges using the energy created while you are breaking. So on a normal day-to-day journey, the battery charges itself without you even noticing every time you hit the brake pedal.

This exceptionally smart hybrid technology system by Suzuki ensures that the engine is never under severe stress, reducing the likelihood of any long term engine issues. In addition, as the engine is constantly assisted, the actual fuel economy of the car is dramatically increased making the car more economic but also "greener" as it reduces the produced emissions.
