The Swift Sport is now Hybrid! Utilising Suzuki's new 48V self-charging hybrid motor alongside the ever-popular 1.4 BoosterJet engine, the new Swift Sport maintains all the fun, all the same driving dynamics, but now is better for the environment. Not just for the environment, this new version also boosts your MPG to over 50! Not bad for a hot hatch!
If you think it's all this new tech just to eke out more MPG and reduce the CO2 emissions, both of which it does expertly, then you're underestimating the new Swift Sport. The car maintains its excellent 6-speed manual gearbox but with the advantage of a new shift mechanism (with a 10-percent shorter throw) which further adds to the cars ability to put a smile on your face.
