Not everything has changed!

We are now accustomed to a changing world, online everything, zoom meetings, video calls etc, but this week I attended the first physical manufacturer’s conference for two years, which, had it been next week, it might not have happened!!

But it did take place, and, one thing more than anything was evident, there is no substitute for meeting people, talking face to face, sharing some stories, and having a laugh. If all the troubles of the last two years has taught us one thing, it’s that we are social animals, we need to meet, we need our friends and colleagues, and no matter what technology comes up with, I doubt it will ever replace a good old fashioned chat, maybe lubricated with a drink!

So, even if things get a little worse before they get better, we can all look forward and know some things will never change, they might just take a while to happen.
