Robin's Diary

Firstly and the absolute fact is the air is cleaner, and with many thousands of deaths, each year attributed to air pollution, less traffic and giving all our lungs clean air certainly is a big plus. I have also noticed we all seem to be in less of a rush - we were all on a fast spinning hamster wheel of life, car drivers were always in a rush, but now we all seem to have calmed down, and our expectations are relaxed. We now seem happier if someone is willing to help, rather than expecting everyone to jump to your beck and call. It has refocussed what is important, and what’s not just as important is less relevant, unless of course, you are a journalist or an opposition politician!

Now we just have to hope that as things slowly return to normal, we can hold on to the best lessons we have learnt and forget the bad habits we had developed, and maybe with more people working from home, having more time, not wasting as much time commuting, we can all enjoy a better life once we have beaten Covid.
