Robin's Diary - 6/5/20

I’ve missed a few weeks, but I think it is about time I got back into normality!
So here goes!

The last few weeks have been a shock to everyone. Unfortunately most of us have been touched by the effects of this deadly virus, but we are a tough lot, and really it’s nothing compared to what our parents or grandparents suffered from 1939.

Fortunately back then, from what I have discovered even most of the media were supporting the difficult decisions made against an enemy we could see?? Maybe it’s the invisibility of a virus, hopefully it’s not just a sign of how journalists have changed.

We didn’t cause it, we didn’t want it, we just have to do the best we can. Fortunately, I only look after a small workforce and our customers, and decisions are difficult - so I will be the last to criticise anyone trying to make the best decisions for 60 million people. So, let’s get behind the decision makers, let them do their best, as I doubt many of us would want to swop places at the moment!!
