After the sunset!

Hopefully, the sun is now setting on the Covid crisis - I was at a very busy vaccination centre this morning for my 2nd jab, and I have to say what an amazing job the whole team who have planned and implemented the vaccines have done!

However, as hopefully the sun sets on a momentous period of restrictions and support, as a business we now have to plan for the future and consider how best to create the tax incomes which the country will undoubtedly need. My plan involves recruiting more staff, providing more training, generating more income, and inevitably paying more tax, thus reducing the reliance on the state.

What really sticks in my throat though is when I read that a massive percentage of the government loans are not expected to be paid back, never mind the support invested for growth. It's such a shame that in our society we have people who just take take take, and leave the really needy and hardworking taxpayer to pick up the bill.
