Consequences…..

In business and in life we all suffer the consequences of our actions or mistakes. Sometimes those consequences can be brilliant – we can end up doing something really positive, or finding a better way to do something, both of which can have amazing results.

However, get it wrong, and those consequences can be big problems! Do something stupid, malicious or just wrong, and it probably won’t simply be a problem for you, but will affect others, your family and/or your colleagues.

So, what’s my point?

I’m sure, like me, most of you will have seen road-policing TV programmes - it makes my blood boil when completely illegal drivers, drug dealers, thieves etc, get chased and caught, and then at the end of the programme, they are released pending investigations or get off scot-free, or with a pathetic sentence and banned from driving when they didn’t even have a licence!

It’s a joke, there is no deterrent, crime seems to pay, and surely it’s got to stop! They certainly don’t suffer the consequences, they laugh in the face of rules and the majority who conform!
